An App on a Mission

SAMEWAY is the go to app to get out of the city and experience the weekend. We work to connect like-minded people to make weekend excursions more fun, while also helping to relieve traffic and decrease emissions to conserve the earth’s resources. The SAMEWAY community cares—about each other, about making excursions better, and about our planet.

Together, We Will Make an Impact

Share your trip and save $50 to $150, whether you ride or drive, compared to driving alone. You also save our planet. On average, every SAMEWAY trip eliminates 130 pounds of CO2 emissions. Use SAMEWAY for your weekend trips twice per month and eliminate over 1.5 tons of CO2 emissions a year! Ride or drive and you are saving and making an impact!

How It Works

The SAMEWAY platform is designed to help people share the cost of their weekend ride up to $.50 per mile and pricing is fixed. Use SAMEWAY and save $50 – $150 compared to rental car, carshare or rideshare.

All community members driving are insured in the case of any accidents that may occur during driving including any third parties who ride with them.

For all trips, pick up points are the rider’s originating location and drop off points are the driver’s destination, unless arranged otherwise between community members. All trips are round trip with defined times.

We strive to create a safe and comfortable experience as best as we can for the SAMEWAY community. In order to do this, we have a zero-tolerance drug & alcohol policy for all community members, and we utilize a community rating system to ensure safety and quality of service.

While we absolutely love pets, and encourage them to join your journey, some community members are allergic to pets and cannot accommodate this request. We do suggest corresponding with your fellow community member to see if your pet can come along for the ride and in what capacity (e.g. pet carrier).
